Congrats to all who have worked so hard to bring this to fruition. Of course, I'm including the huge swath of individuals I know--myself included--who continually called and emailed their elected representatives this past year.
Much, much work remains, of course. But still, what a hell of a start.

The only real bummer to come out of the approval of the health care bill is that I won't be able to see respected newspeople say "Bohner" and/or "Weiner" anymore. (In the best of times, they'd get to say it in the same sentence.)
I agree: it'll be hard to forgo. Maybe we can lobby our representatives to insert the names in question into a forthcoming amendment.
